Qualifications:
Must possess a current driver’s license, have 1 year field
experience in arboriculture or related field, and project
a positive and professional image to clients and the public
at all times.
Responsibilities:
Provide ground support for co-workers working aloft by
supplying tools and equipment as needed; assist climbers
with rigging and the lowering of limbs and logs; assist
with the pruning and the planting of smaller trees; keep
work areas clean by chipping brush, removing wood and
raking debris; keep truck cab and tool boxes clean and
stocked with supplies; act as “point of service” client
contact as needed and directs questions to crew leader,
arborist or sales representative as necessary; must complete
course of study to become a certified arborist in less
than two years (ISA and MCA); and assist with weekly shop
repairs and maintenance. |
Salary Range:
$15-$21/hr
