Tree Specialists’ vegetation management
services recognize and support the various relationships
that exist in a healthy, functional landscape –
one that considers the associations of soil, moisture,
light, water quality, and biological diversity. Proper
site assessment and an awareness of how these interconnected
factors can be managed are the foundation of a landscape
management program.

Tree
Inventory and Assessment
Identifies and maps individual specimens and visually
assesses their health, structure, and potential
risks to people, buildings, and landscape features.
|
|
Tree
Risk Assessment
A thorough exploratory inspection of individual
trees identified as a potential risk. The assessment
considers three factors: the tree’s failure
potential, the setting in which the tree grows,
and in the event of failure — the potential
target. A rating is assigned to help determine the
best course of action. |

management issues that directly relate to the aesthetics,
health, and ecological quality of the landscape.
It generally includes all major landscape features
such as trees, shrubs, turf, fields, woodlands,
and landscape/wetland interface zones. |
